Technical Discussion / Meinung eines Users
« on: August 14, 2015, 11:34:40 AM »

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=26136.msg10182147#msg10182147

Mein Kenntnisstand ist seitdem nicht gewachsen. Erhelle mich also jemand, wozu man nun sowas wie Ethereum braucht.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=687171.msg7803044#msg7803044

https://blockchain.info/de/charts/estimated-transaction-volume?timespan=all&showDataPoints=false&daysAverageString=1&show_header=true&scale=0&address=

Hi Mates,

The delta diff works not correct with pools. Earlier tests were successful. We will therefore revert to the KGW.
Switch Block 102000.

The Version is aviable @ github. ( Version 11232)

Official Announcement / New Version 11.2.31
« on: June 06, 2015, 09:58:34 AM »
Hi Mates,

Update your wallets & masternodes - this update is required!

Current version is 0.11.2.31 for all OS

http://sourceforge.net/projects/limx/files/?source=navbar

Masternode package:

wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/limx/files/limx-linux64.zip

We switch (hardcoded) from KGW original @Block 99.500 to KGW2 settings & @Block 101.000 to DELTA Diff.

- KGW2 @Block 99.500
- DELTA @Block 101.000

We decide after that which retarget we´ll choose in the future, perhaps we build a kgw 2.0 with improvements from DELTA.

DELTA is the most advanced diff algorithm that has been developed by the Guldencoin development team
to keep our blockchain running smooth and to give our dedicated miners better value.
Multi/Jump pools have changed the game and DELTA is our answer to them.

MASTERNODE BUILD NOTES

Some notes on how to build a Limx Masternode in Ubuntu server. Using Windows Qt Client to configure.

System requirements

An Ubuntu 14.10 64bit server is recommended with at least 768MB of memory and 15GB space available when running a Masternode.

Notes

You need exactly 5000 LIMX to run a Masternode. Masternode input must have at least 15 confirmations. Building a new wallet.dat is also recommended (a seperate .conf is needed). Masternode earnings going to this wallet.dat and address. Send only new earned coins away and pay attention for transaction fees. To fix a broken accountaddress 0 (possible when sending huge amounts of coins away), do a self tx of 5000 LIMX.

Start

Open your Windows Limecoinx-Qt Client and open the debug console.

masternode genkey
copy the generated code to a text file
---
getaccountaddress 0
copy the generated address to a text file
---
encryptwallet "strong password"
Send 5000 LIMX to "address 0"
